Reflection

Experience
Overall, I found this module enjoyable, although it was quite tedious and required a great deal of planning and attention to detail. Looking back, I feel that my group did a good job executing the project. Each task built upon the previous one in a logical way. Task 1 focused on understanding the brand as a whole, Task 2 went further into understanding the needs and behaviours of the target audience, and Task 3 allowed us to apply everything we had learned by developing a complete social media campaign.

For most of the project, everyone was accommodating and worked well together. It was only during the final few weeks of the semester, when deadlines from other modules and personal commitments started piling up, that we experienced some challenges. Although we still managed to complete the project, everyone was working at different times and at their own pace, which made coordination a little more difficult.

Observation
One thing I noticed throughout this project was how important communication and mutual understanding are when working on detailed group projects. Sometimes an idea may seem very clear in your own mind, but someone else may interpret it differently. Because of that, I realised it is always better to ask questions and clarify things whenever there is any uncertainty, rather than making assumptions. Clear communication helped us avoid misunderstandings and kept everyone moving in the same direction.

This project also made me realise that a group project is called a group project for a reason. While completing your own assigned tasks is important, I believe it is equally important to have a general understanding of what the rest of the team is working on and how each part contributes to the overall project. As the group leader, I naturally took the extra step to understand everyone's responsibilities and keep track of the project's overall progress. I do not see this as a burden, but it made me realise that having an awareness of the entire project should ideally come from every team member. When everyone understands the bigger picture instead of focusing only on their own section, collaboration becomes much smoother and the final outcome is much more cohesive.

Findings
Through this module, I learned that social media design is much more than simply creating and posting content. It requires understanding what the brand wants to communicate, how audiences interact with different types of content, and how the brand's values can be effectively conveyed through each post. Every design decision should have a purpose and contribute towards building a stronger connection between the brand and its audience.

Thank You
